Superintendent Steve McCullough

Steve McCullough was appointed as Superintendent of Educational Service District 123 in 2022.  Superintendent McCullough has over 20 years in school administration, serving in rural Eastern Washington.  He has a bachelor’s degree in economics, a teaching certificate from Pacific Lutheran University, and a Master’s in Educational Psychology.  His principal credentials are from Eastern Washington University, and his superintendent credentials are from Washington State University. Steve has four adult children with his wife, Lisa.  He enjoys time with family, getting outdoors, and reading.
 
  ESD 123 provides services to more than 70,000 students in preschool through grade 12 in the southeast section of Washington State. As leader of the organization, Steve values building strong, trusting relationships both internally and externally. He works to support local educational leaders in their quest to build and maintain quality educational institutions across 23 school districts that range from an enrollment of 6 to over 19,000 students. Steve is committed to the success of ESD 123 and its mission of “Helping all students realize their dreams and aspirations.”
