Educational Service District 123

History

In 2007 the Legislature approved SHB 1128 which provides funding to each of the nine Educational Service Districts for a Regional Mathematics Coordinator. The Coordinators were charged with providing regional professional development activities related to science curriculum and instruction.

Services Build regional leadership capacity around the area of science education. Create a network of regional partnerships among educators and community leaders to leverage resources. Support science education within our region. Provide professional development related to standards, assessment, science content and elements of effective science instruction.
